"Grades went up... technically"
My grades improved a little, so I guess that’s something. Not exactly a dramatic movie-montage transformation, but hey, progress is progress. There are still some obvious gaps, though, so I wouldn’t call it a total win just yet.

"Easy enough for everyday school use"
We’ve been using k12.com for daily school stuff, and overall it’s been easy to figure out. Logging in, checking lessons, and finding messages is straightforward, which is a relief. A few pages do take a little longer to load sometimes, but it hasn’t been a huge problem. My kid can get around the site without asking me for help every few minutes, so that’s been nice. Has anyone else noticed the occasional slow loading, or is that just on our end?

"Support was helpful, just a bit slow"
I had to reach out to K12 support a few times for help with logging in and getting some class setup stuff sorted out. The people I talked to were polite and seemed willing to help (so that part was fine), but the replies didn’t come as quickly as I expected.
A couple of times I had to wait longer than I thought I would, or follow up again just to get a clearer answer. Everything did get fixed eventually, so I wouldn’t say it was a bad experience (just a little frustrating). I just wish the support was a bit more responsive.

"Not quite the flexibility we were hoping for"
I went into K12 thinking the schedule would be a lot more open, like we’d have more room to work around our day, appointments, random stuff that comes up, you know. But it ended up feeling more structured than I expected. There were quite a few live classes and deadlines, and my kid had a hard time keeping up with all of it. It’s not a bad program, it just wasn’t as flexible as we needed it to be.

"My son seems more interested in school now"
I wasn’t sure how my son would do with K12, but he’s been more into it than I expected. From my point of view, the lessons feel clear and easy for him to follow, and he seems to like being able to see what’s coming next without me having to remind him all the time. We still have rough days here and there, of course, but overall he’s paying attention more and actually getting involved. So far, it feels like a good fit for our family.

"Really helpful teachers over the past few months"
Over the past few months, I’ve noticed how much the teachers have helped my kid whenever they got stuck. Whether it was during class or later when they needed a bit more explanation, the teachers were always patient and supportive. It’s made a real difference for us.

"K12 might be a good fit for..."
K12 might be a good fit for some families, but i didn’t realize how much of the school day was going to land on me. The lessons are there, sure, but keeping my kid focused, double-checking assignments, sorting out logins, and making sure everything actually gets done started to feel like a part-time job.

The teachers were nice when we could get in touch with them, but over time I felt less and less confident in what we had signed up for. It just didn’t match what I thought we were getting, and it started to feel like I was doing most of the teaching myself. Not a terrible program, but definitely way more parent work than we expected

"The enrollment process took way longer than..."
The enrollment process took way longer than I expected, and the emails I got were confusing. I kept thinking it would get sorted out soon, but I’m still not totally sure what’s going on or who’s supposed to answer my questions

"Heads up: the curriculum isn’t as strong as I expected"
Just a warning for anyone considering k12.com, we used it for a while, and the curriculum felt weak. Some lessons seemed outdated or way too basic, and then others suddenly jumped into harder material without much explanation. My kid got bored quickly, and I ended up having to find extra resources myself just to fill in the gaps. It might be okay if you only need the basics, but don’t go in expecting a super well-structured program or really clear teaching
